  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among young professionals in the field of radiation protection (RP) and its allied disciplines.
  • Keep members informed about recent developments, advancements, and best practices in RP.
  • Organize study sessions and educational events to enhance members’ knowledge and skills.
  • Foster interdisciplinary discussions and knowledge sharing among members.
  • Enhance members’ communication skills through group discussions, presentations, and other interactive activities.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive environment where members can seek advice, share experiences, and collaborate on research projects.
  • Promote the professional growth and development of young RP researchers in India.

In 1968 a group of scientists at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre concerned with radiation safety initiated a proposal to set up a professional association to promote safety in the manifold uses of ionizing radiation in the country.
